To keep your 100% New Zealand wool throw looking and feeling its best, follow these simple care instructions:
Gentle Cleaning:
Wool naturally repels dirt and odours, so frequent washing isn’t needed. Simply air your throw outdoors regularly to freshen it up.
Spot Clean When Needed:
For small marks or spills, gently sponge with cool water and a mild wool detergent. Avoid rubbing, wringing, or using bleach.
Hand Wash or Dry Clean:
If a deeper clean is required, hand wash in cool or lukewarm water (below 40 °C) using an enzyme-free wool detergent, or have it professionally dry-cleaned.
Drying:
Gently squeeze out excess water — do not twist. Lay flat or line dry away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid plastic bags; use a breathable cotton cover to prevent condensation.
With proper care, your wool throw will stay beautifully soft and cosy for many years.
