Depending on the size selected, the maximum calf circumference ranges from approximately 43–49 cm (16.9–19.3 in.), measured at the top of the boot.

Choosing the Right Size & Calf Fit

Our Ultimate boots generally run true to size, particularly for women. For men who are between sizes or have wider feet, moving up a size will normally provide additional room.

New genuine sheepskin footwear should initially feel comfortably snug around the foot. The dense wool takes up more space when new and gradually compresses and moulds to the shape of your feet with wear.

For this style, however, calf measurement is just as important as foot size.

Measure around the widest part of your calf and compare this with the maximum calf measurement shown for your chosen boot size. The maximum calf measurement is taken at the top of the boot.

The rugged TPR sole makes these boots suitable for both relaxing indoors and regular outdoor wear.

However, genuine sheepskin itself is not completely waterproof. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to heavy rain, standing water, deep wet snow, slush and excessively muddy conditions.

Looking after the suede exterior is particularly important if you regularly wear your boots outdoors.

Caring for Your Sheepskin Boots

Preventative care is the best way to maintain the appearance and natural softness of genuine sheepskin.

For everyday care:

• Air your boots naturally between wears


• Allow dry surface dirt or mud to dry before gently brushing it away


• Light marks can be carefully wiped with a damp cloth


• Avoid unnecessarily soaking or washing your boots


• Allow damp boots to dry naturally at room temperature


• Keep them away from direct sunlight and strong heat


• Never place wet sheepskin directly on a heater or radiator


• Once dry, lightly brush the suede with a soft suede brush

The current product care guide also recommends avoiding washing unless genuinely necessary.

Protect Your Boots Before First Wear

We strongly recommend applying our Sheepskin Protector & Water Repellent before wearing your boots outdoors.

It helps improve the natural suede's resistance to water, dirt and oily stains and can be reapplied when required.

The protector does not make genuine sheepskin completely waterproof, so prolonged exposure to very wet conditions should still be avoided.
