Sheepskin Slipper Care

Preserve the comfort and longevity of your sheepskin slippers with simple care.

Routine care

Avoid washing unless absolutely necessary. Regularly air your slippers to keep them fresh and allow the natural lanolin in the wool to self-clean and resist odours.

Washing

If cleaning is needed, hand wash or use a gentle wool cycle at 30 °C with a mild wool detergent such as our Woolskin Sheepskin Shampoo. Wash separately from other items and rinse thoroughly in cold water. Do not use bleach, enzymes or fabric softeners.

Drying

Press out excess water gently - never wring. Reshape and stuff with paper to retain form. Let them dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or strong heat sources. You can place them near (not on) a warm heater to speed drying safely.

Finishing touch

Once dry, lightly brush the suede with a soft suede brush to restore its texture and natural nap. For extra protection against moisture and stains, apply our Sheepskin Protector & Water Repellent.

Nice splippers

Very happy with the slippers. Only wrinkle is that the soles aren't just flexi they actually only have material on the bottom. Had the impression it was a rubber sole, albeit thinner than the other model. Not an issue just something to be aware of, I assume they may wear out a bit faster

Great to begin with - very little support for the arch area - and have worn out already inside a year

Soooooo comfy

This pair of slippers was an identical replacement for some that I bought 12 years ago. Those lasted for a long time, but it was time for a new pair. In spite of a lot of companies cutting corners in the past few years, my slippers are every bit as well-made as the original pair.
