Sheepskin Slipper Care

Preserve the comfort and longevity of your sheepskin slippers with simple care.

Routine care

Avoid washing unless absolutely necessary. Regularly air your slippers to keep them fresh and allow the natural lanolin in the wool to self-clean and resist odours.

Washing

If cleaning is needed, hand wash or use a gentle wool cycle at 30 °C with a mild wool detergent such as our Woolskin Sheepskin Shampoo. Wash separately from other items and rinse thoroughly in cold water. Do not use bleach, enzymes or fabric softeners.

Drying

Press out excess water gently - never wring. Reshape and stuff with paper to retain form. Let them dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or strong heat sources. You can place them near (not on) a warm heater to speed drying safely.

Finishing touch

Once dry, lightly brush the suede with a soft suede brush to restore its texture and natural nap. For extra protection against moisture and stains, apply our Sheepskin Protector & Water Repellent.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your Kiwi Sheepskins purchase. If something isn’t quite right, you may return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery, provided the item meets the conditions in the returns policy.

Thankyou for your prompt delivery. These slippers are just gold. When I put them on my feet give a very contented sigh! So cosy, comfortable and most importantly natural.

The slippers themselves were great quality and they arrived super fast. Unfortunately, when I got them they were too big. I emailed the company and they were prompt to answer. They told me I can return them at my cost with a note inside that says my size and they will ship a new pair back. I returned them with tracking from the South Island NZ, when they finally were delivered back to the company I have not heard a word from them regarding my return pair in a smaller size. I have sent 3 emails. It’s now been almost 3 weeks since I ordered originally. No slippers and out $150 now.

I love the sheepskin Flexi Bootie slippers

It's warm, it's comfortable, it's non - slip and it fits like a glove. I also have a boot warmer that I highly recommend using with the slippers. I love these slippers more than any others on the market. So well made with the finest materials.

I love your Kiwi Sheepskin Slippers

I began ordering Kiwi Sheepskin Slippers many years ago. After having stood in classrooms for 39 years, they were my special gift to me after I retired. They last a long time but I have had several pairs over the years. In the early years I bought the soft sole but then switched to Flexi Sole Booties, as I wear them outside on our deck and sometimes in the house all day. Whether Soft or Flexi, the slippers are so warm and cozy. A pair will last for years so are well worth the price. The company is also easy to contact and shipments come surprisingly fast.
